ATA Welcomes Drivewyze as Featured Product

ARLINGTON, Va., -- Today, American Trucking Associations announced it has added Drivewyze PreClear weigh station bypass service into its roster of Featured Products.

"Trucking is becoming increasingly dependent on technology and data, and products like Drivewyze are helping fleets move America's freight more efficiently and safely than ever before," said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. "We are pleased to welcome them into our Featured Product stable."

"The Drivewyze weigh station bypass service is experiencing unprecedented growth, thanks to the continued support of both the commercial trucking industry and commercial vehicle safety enforcement agencies," Drivewyze President and CEO Brian Heath said. "Drivers and carriers want more bypass opportunities, higher ROI and world class customer service.  Drivewyze is proving our commitment to meeting these needs by rolling out comprehensive statewide coverage areas, producing data-driven results and being fanatical about customer service. Our program opens the door to allowing more carriers to participate and benefit from bypass services and our technology allows us to deliver more locations, including coverage at mobile inspection sites. For example, in the case of Texas and Florida alone carriers using Drivewyze will enjoy bypass opportunities at over 90 sites, which is three times as many locations as any other bypass service. Nationally, Drivewyze continues to grow quickly and now offers bypass services at 326 sites in 24 states.

"Industry and partner support has been key to our growth, and we are proud to have the support of the American Trucking Associations," Heath said. "Through our agreements with partners, fleets are now able to use the Drivewyze service on their existing in-cab equipment, leveraging their ELD investments and eliminating the need for additional transponders. This means that safe carriers can now enjoy the benefits of a secure bypass service on the equipment of their choice."

Drivewyze is available currently on PeopleNet Tablet and Blu2 ELDs, the Zonar 2020, and is coming soon to Rand McNally devices. It also runs on Android or iOS tablets and mobile devices. Complimentary features include the industry's first weigh station loss reporting tool and universal driver Heads Up notification service.  The Drivewyze Weigh Station Heads Up service offers real-time notifications at more than 700 weigh stations and inspection sites nationwide. Drivewyze PreClear subscription services offer fleets the opportunity to earn up to a 98% weigh station bypass rate, depending on their safety records.
