Justin Henshell of Henshell and Buccellato Consulting Architects in NJ has been presented with William C. Cullen Award for his contributions to international standards for roofing and waterproofing. Henshell, who joined the organization in 1976, remains active member of both Committee D08 and Committee C15 on Manufactured Masonry Units. He specializes in moisture-related issues in building enclosures, including roofing, waterproofing, and masonry walls.

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-ASTM International Committee D08 on Roofing and Waterproofing has presented Justin Henshell, principal and partner at Henshell and Buccellato Consulting Architects in Shrewsbury, N.J., with the William C. Cullen Award for his outstanding contributions to international standards for roofing and waterproofing.
An ASTM fellow, Henshell joined the organization in 1976. He is an active member of both Committee D08 and Committee C15 on Manufactured Masonry Units. He has been recognized for his service with ASTM's highest recognition for contributions to standards activities, the Award of Merit, in 1995, and also received the Walter C. Voss Award in 2000 and a D08 Award of Appreciation in 2006.
Henshell, who holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., specializes in moisture-related issues in building enclosures, including roofing, waterproofing and masonry walls. He spent more than 30 years as an independent architect in New York, N.Y., before founding Henshell and Buccellato Consulting Architects in 1991.
In addition to ASTM International, Banker is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and the International Council for Building Research, Studies and Documentation.
