In recognition of his contributions to development of standards for ASTM International Committee F17 on Plastic Piping Systems, Peter Collette, retiree of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) in Newark, NJ, received Frank W. Reinhart and Henry W. (Butch) Kuhlmann Award. Collette has been ASTM International member since 1979 and, as ASTM fellow, was honored with Award of Merit from Committee F17 in 2000 for his dedicated work.

Peter Collette Receives Award for Contributions to ASTM International Plastic Piping Standards



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.—Peter Collette, a retiree of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) in Newark, N.J., has received the Frank W. Reinhart and Henry W. (Butch) Kuhlmann Award for his contributions to the development of standards for ASTM International Committee F17 on Plastic Piping Systems.



An ASTM fellow, Collette was honored with the Award of Merit from Committee F17 in 2000 for his dedicated work on the committee. He has been a member of ASTM International since 1979.



Collette worked for PSE&G for 41 years, holding various engineering positions during that time, including standards engineer and asset strategy leader. His title when he retired in 2006 was manager of gas system and plants.



A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, N.J., where he received a master’s degree in business, Collette also holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass.
