New coverage plans for ASG Precision Fastening X-PAQ™ systems and products.
Cleveland, ASG is pleased to announce the addition of extended protection and maintenance plans for Precision Fastening X-PAQ™ systems and products. ASG X-GUARD™ plans are now available to cover products for periods of 6, 12, 18, or 24 months (or a stated number of additional cycles in some cases) in addition to the standard one-year (or one million cycles) full warranty that is included with original new purchase of X-PAQ™ systems and products. X-GUARD™ is a part of a new campaign by ASG to offer more integrated, value-added products and services to customers.
ASG X-GUARD™ Plan Outline and Details
ASG X-GUARD™ plans for the X-PAQ™ Controller and networking modules include firmware updates within original controller firmware level and replacement or repair of parts required to restore functionality to the non-functioning or malfunctioning controller or networking module. Plans covering SD2500 screwdrivers include one or two tool recalibrations (depending upon the number of months of coverage purchased), preventative maintenance inspections (for plans covering 12 months or more), and replacement or repair of parts required to restore functionality to the non-functioning or malfunctioning screwdriver and/or CB2500 cable.

ASG X-GUARD™ recalibration services include recalibration of the screwdriver to the master and adjustment of the CAL value stored inside the screwdriver. Recalibrated screwdrivers will receive a new Certificate of Calibration. ASG X-GUARD™ preventative maintenance service includes ASG technicians who will disassemble, clean, and relubricate the screwdriver’s gearbox, recalibrate the screwdriver to the master, and provide a new Certificate of Calibration.
