ASC Plans Second Recording Breaking Convention for 2007

Bethesda, MD (May 22, 2007) - This April, Savannah, GA served as a backdrop for one of the most successful conventions the adhesive and sealant industry has seen. With over 450 attendees, a sold-out exhibit hall and a sold-out short course, the ASC 2007 Spring Convention was an overwhelming success. The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) is now planning to duplicate that success at the ASC 2007 Fall Convention in Kansas City, MO from October 7 - 10.

ASC conventions are known for their outstanding educational programs and this convention will be no different. With both business and technical courses, ASC provides convention attendees with the latest information on hot industry topics such as global markets and "green" issues. ASC is currently soliciting abstracts from the most informed and innovative industry players. The deadline for abstract submission is June 29, 2007.

The ASC 2007 Fall Convention also provides several networking opportunities. Most notably, the ASC Expo, on October 8, 2007, serves as a meeting ground for suppliers and manufacturers. The Expo floor is already filling up with some of the hottest companies in the industry. With only 25 spaces still available, the convention is looking at another sold-out show.

The ASC 2007 Fall Convention is also notable for its new schedule format. The convention officially kicks-off on Monday, October 8 with an opening lunch and ends at noon on Wednesday, October 10. "We are always looking for better ways to serve our members and produce the best convention possible," said ASC President Larry Sloan. "After the success of Savannah, we are doing everything in our power to meet and surpass attendee expectations."

ASC encourages all interested attendees to mark their calendars for what will be another outstanding convention and to visit ASC online at www.ascouncil.org to stay apprised of the latest convention information.
