ASC offers short course on Hot Melts.July 9, 2008 -
From Oct 12-13, ASC is offering Technical Short Course on Hot Melts in conjunction with 2008 Fall Convention and Expo at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. On Oct 12, presentations will include introduction to hot melt markets with focus on platicizers, styrenic block co-polymers, waxes, hydrocarbon tackifiers, and antioxidants. Presentations on Oct 13 will cover raw materials market for hot melts, including packaging and paper converting adhesives, non-woven adhesives, and PSA labels and tapes.

(ASC) is offering a Technical Short Course on Hot Melts from October 12-13 in conjunction with the 2008 Fall Convention and Expo at the Baltimore Marriot Waterfront.
The course has presentations from industry experts including David Nick of DPNA International, Inc., Dr. David Dillard of Virginia Tech University and William Arendt of Velsicol Chemical Corporation. A tentative presentation schedule, which follows, has been set:
