Original Press Release:
64 Exhibitors, Including 17 New Suppliers to Exhibit in Atlanta Event
Bethesda, MD – The Adhesive and Sealant Council’s (ASC) Spring EXPO is officially sold out, with 64 companies taking 5,000 net square feet for the upcoming event, being held in conjunction with the ASC Convention, April 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, in Atlanta, GA.
The show is 25% larger than the 2012 Spring EXPO in terms of square footage, and will feature 17 brand new exhibitors to the event.
“More companies and new-to-the-show companies mean that attendees will have more opportunities to find innovative and alternative solutions for their formulation needs,” notes Matthew E. Croson, President of ASC. “In this competitive business environment, it’s important that formulator attendees have as many options as possible and we encourage ASC Member Company buying teams to start their event planning now.”
Expansion of the ASC EXPO is a Board-driven strategy to add value to the Council’s two Conventions and EXPO events held annually. Convention attendees have long asked for more exhibitors that provide polymer resins, performance additives and processing and packaging equipment.
“Working closely with the Council’s Marketing Committee, ASC was able to identify potential suppliers, develop a value proposition and begin the process of reaching out to make sure the industry knew about our event and understood our audience,” notes Croson. “ASC is pleased that so many companies saw value in the EXPO and we look forward to having them be a part of the Spring Event.”
ASC’s Marketing Committee is one of five standing committees that ensure ASC programs are 100% member focused. In addition to the EXPO Expansion project, the Committee is working on developing a new networking program to be held at the Fall Convention in Minneapolis, MN and offering marketing opportunities on the Council’s web platform.
“At the Fall EXPO, ASC will unveil what we’re calling a ‘Speed Networking’ event that will connect formulators with raw materials suppliers, as a value add to the EXPO that will also be held,” adds Croson. “The program will be profile driven where individuals with business needs can connect with individuals with business solutions. The ‘Speed Networking’ event will allow companies that wanted to meet with a specific prospect a chance to sit down and meet face-to-face in a quiet setting for introductions and connection.”
