ARPAC Model TS37 Demonstrates New Style Side Seal for Abrasion/Pilfer Resistant Films at Pack Expo Show 2006
September 2006, Schiller Park, IL - The ARPAC Group, leaders in shrink packaging solutions, are demonstrating the versatile ARPAC Model TS37 shrink wrapper with new style side seal for abrasion/pilfer-resistant Shrink Box films(TM) films at Pack Expo - Booth #S-2241.
This patent-pending side seal runs great seals on Shrink Box films(TM) at up to 90 feet per minute. Upper and lower bands provide even heat distribution for running at high speeds and timing belts for enhanced film control. The new side seal also features a separate cut-off knife with adjustable positioning for Shrink Box EZ-Peel(TM) films. The side seal is easy to maintain and can be retrofitted to all Arpac horizontal shrink wrappers.
The TS37 also offers interchangeable horizontal and vertical sealing, along with an adjustable film inverter that eliminates the need for multiple forming heads or expensive centerfold film. Capable of speeds up to 70 packages per minute, the ARPAC Model TS37 is the ideal for contract packagers where quick product changeovers are a necessity. The unique trim seal unit keeps package graphics distortion free by forming strong, neat seals extremely close to the sides of the product. The TS37 with new style side seal is ideal for retail and industrial products where attention to aesthetics is essential while offering alternatives to paperboard packaging and banding.
