Acquisition increases APEM's US manufacturing base

Haverhill, MA, USA, July 21, 2008 - APEM, a global manufacturer of electrical switches and switch panel products is pleased to announce the acquisition of CH Products, a leading manufacturer of joysticks, trackballs and simulation control devices.

CH Products has been a leading manufacturer of advanced motion control solutions for more than twenty-five years. CH manufactures a wide range of resistive and Hall effect joysticks as well as panel mount and desktop trackballs, engineered to meet the most exacting requirements. CH Products is located in Vista, California, where the company operates an 80,000 sq. foot vertically integrated manufacturing facility.

APEM has developed a reputation as a full service supplier with its extensive switch offering, switch panel solutions, and custom switch design expertise. The acquisition of CH Products broadens APEM's portfolio allowing it to offer complete human-machine interface solutions to its customers.
