ANSI, U.S.-China Business Council Announce Organizational Charts for Chinese Government Ministries
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is pleased to announce the availability of a new resource for its members that will facilitate enhanced U.S. engagement on standards and conformance in China. The resource was developed jointly with the US-China Business Council (USCBC), the leading organization of U.S. companies engaged in business with the People's Republic of China.
ANSI and USCBC will be offering a series of organizational charts for Chinese government agencies, including the roles and responsibilities for individual departments within the agency and English and Mandarin Chinese names of the top offices and officials. Organizational charts for the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) are now available to full members of ANSI and the USCBC, and the two organizations plan to add other Chinese government agencies in the future.
