ANSI/NEMA SG‑IC 1-2013 Available for Download at No Cost for Limited Time



ROSSLYN, Va.—To promote the rapid adoption of ANSI/NEMA SG–IC 1-2013 Smart Grid Interoperable and Conformant Testing and Certification Scheme Operator Guidelines, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is offering the standard at no charge for a limited time.



This publication describes the roles and responsibilities for each of four main participants in a testing scheme for interoperability and security among Smart Grid products. It also brings uniformity and portability to the process by identifying the necessary levels of checks and balances for the overall testing process. Contributors include internationally-accredited testing bodies as well as nationally recognized testing laboratories.



SG-IC 1 may be downloaded at no cost on the NEMA website.
