AMX Polaris(TM) for Public Sector Equips Local Governments with Low-Cost, High Value Oracle® Application Bundles
Conference, June 13 -- In an effort to provide local governments with industry-tailored solutions that are affordable and quick to deploy, Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) today announced that AMX, a Certified Partner in the Oracle® PartnerNetwork, is delivering AMX Polaris(TM) for Public Sector, an Oracle Accelerate solution that has been reviewed by Oracle. Oracle Accelerate is Oracle's approach to helping partners deliver Oracle products to small and medium sized businesses, local governments and small to mid-sized state and federal agencies (SMGs).
Today, public sector organizations are under increased pressure to control IT costs, manage limited resources and maintain high-levels of productivity with minimal business interruption in order to improve efficiency and constituent service. Based on Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, AMX Polaris for Public Sector provides a pre-configured, industry-tailored solution that will enable SMGs to benefit from cost-effective, best practice deployments and rapid implementations.
AMX Polaris for Public Sector incorporates real, day-to-day business flows and best practices drawn from the public sector into its methodology, resulting in more efficient processes including: project budgeting; encumbrance-based expense tracking; fund, grant and project management; fixed asset management; procure-to-pay; and performance reporting. Additionally, AMX Polaris for Public Sector automates software upgrades, helping to significantly reduce the complexity and risk associated with migrating to updated versions.
