Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA) members convened for their Annual Meeting in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada from September 10-12. AMCA President, Denis Labelle, and President of Mechanovent Corporation Chairman of the Board, Gary Benson hosted meetings. The in-person business and networking event enabled members and staff to discuss ideas such as CRP certifying process modernization and increasing acceptance of CRP on key products internationally.

AMCA International Members Convene for the Association's 54th Annual Meeting



Arlington Heights, IL USA--The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA) September 10-12, 2009 AMCA members convened for their Annual Meeting in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. The meetings were hosted by current AMCA President, Denis Labelle, of T. A. Morrison & Co. Inc., and Gary Benson, President of Mechanovent Corporation Chairman of the Board. The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors, AMCA Members, AMCA Staff, guests, and Trade Journal Press. Members arrived from various points around the U. S., and included some of AMCA's International members from Germany, China, Singapore, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

Meetings were scheduled for the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Division, Committee, and Regional members, and lasted for 3 days, taking care of general housekeeping, including a general session for the entire membership. The AMCA Annual Meeting is an in-person business and networking meeting where members and staff are able to discuss ideas such as "Modernization of the CRP Certifying Process" and "Increasing acceptance of CRP on Key Products Internationally." They also continued work on the "Comprehensive plan for AMCA International's Structure" as well as "Focus on Member satisfaction and R.O.I."

During her Executive Directors report Barbara Morrison, AMCA Executive Director summarized: "AMCA's worldwide outreach continues to grow at record rates with positive impact; a direct reflection of the hard work by AMCA Members and staff, striving to fulfill the goals and directives of the Association's Strategic Plan." Ms. Morrison went on to say "The growth of the association, its programs, and the recognition of them in the global community is an indicator of future success for AMCA International."

The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. is a not for profit international association of the world's manufacturers of related air system equipment - primarily, but not limited to fans, louvers, dampers, air curtains, airflow measurement stations, acoustic attenuators, and other air system components for the industrial, commercial, and residential markets.

The association's mission is to promote the health and growth of the industries covered by its scope and the members of the association consistent with the interests of the public.
