AMCA International's Board of Directors Vote Unanimously- NO to Scheduled Assessment Increase

Arlington Heights, IL, USA---The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA International) Board of Directors has reviewed the current dues structure and has approved the following: NO CAP ASSESSMENT INCREASE FOR JULY 1, 2009

The increase was scheduled to go into effect July 1, 2009 increasing the Cap assessment to $50,000 from $47,000.

During the February Winter Board Meeting, the AMCA Board of Directors voted unanimously to delay the assessment increase for one year. The increase was scheduled to happen July 1, 2009, and has been delayed until July 1, 2010.

The Board recognizes that an increase during this time of economic strife may create an additional hardship for some of the member companies. While realizing that periodic small increases are necessary and essential in order to comply with the associations "Strategic Plan" in maintaining the Certified Ratings Program (CRP) and AMCA's growing global presence, the board felt that delaying an increase of the cap assessment for one year was an appropriate action at this time.
