Press release date: July 4, 2006

Bangkok, Thailand. July 04, 2006

AKCP Inc. the oldest and largest manufacturer of SNMP based environmental and security monitoring solutions, today announced the release of its new Mapping Module for the AKCP Sensor Notification Matrix.

The new module allows users to see, at a glance, the status and location of their AKCP sensors against a real-world backdrop.

Through the use of fully customizable maps and an intuitive and informative front-end users gain even more control over their business systems.

Users create maps based on their own requirements, upload them to their AKCP sensorProbe8Linux, and simply drag-and-drop sensor icons to or from the map.

Live sensor icons show the current status of the customer's sensors and, if an alert is generated, will give audio and visual warning of both what is wrong and where it is located. By clicking on any sensor the user gains full details of the sensors current and historical status. Depending on the sensor type data can be displayed as a graph or as streaming video. All sensors may be configured from the Mapping Module.

The Mapping Module is part of AKCP's renowned Sensor Notification Matrix, this intuitive new map interface gives complete access to the full power of the Sensor Notification Matrix.

Ideal for Central Monitoring Stations and Control Centers the AKCP Mapping Module, the latest product from AKCP's Development Team, is now available at no cost to the user. For further information and instructions please visit the AKCP website at http://www.AKCP.com
