Gerald McNerney to Open AIM Technology Leadership Summit

Warrendale, PA - February 12, 2009 - AIM Global, the worldwide trade association and authority on automatic identification and mobility technologies, announced today that Gerald McNerney, vice president of strategy and business development for Motorola's Enterprise Mobility business, will serve as the keynote speaker for the annual AIM Technology Leadership Summit to be held April 20-22, at the Hyatt Woodfield in Chicago, IL, USA. McNerney will speak on the morning of April 21st.

Each year executives from major manufacturers, resellers, integrators, distributors and end users of Automatic Identification and Mobility products and services gather for 48 hours of global education and strategy sessions, peer networking, and the presentation of AIM industry awards. The Summit is the world's only event of its type.

McNerney, whose background includes time spent as a former commissioned officer of the U.S. Naval Reserve and U.S. Merchant Marine Officer, as well as a senior supply chain analyst for AMR Research, will speak about the use of automatic identification and data collection solutions and their impact on the growth and health of today's rapidly changing global economy.

The keynote address begins a day of education that includes interactive panel discussions with leading industry analysts, international technical experts and key end users in the Government, Energy and Healthcare fields.
