"The creation of AIIM Essentials is in direct response to the many student and AIIM membership requests worldwide," states Mr. Larrivee. "These additional educational programs have a tight focus and are offered in a standalone format that enhances the training provided in our business series of AIIM Certificate programs. We are pleased to be partnering with CMS Watch, who shares the same level of commitment to education as AIIM, in developing and delivering this new series to our community and the business world at large."

CMS Watch Principal Theresa Regli adds, "Level-setting knowledge about a particular technology or methodology is so crucial to reducing risk and increasing the potential for success in all areas of enterprise content management (ECM). The Essentials courses were created to do just that: provide a vendor-independent, solid common ground of knowledge in the areas of WCM, DAM, eDiscovery, and SharePoint. The courses are frank about what these technologies can and can't do; what situations they're most appropriate for; and what the best practice methodologies are." She continues, "Over the years, AIIM has built an unmatched education program that puts ECM practitioners on a common footing. After working with AIIM to develop the Certificate programs for Information Organization & Access (IOA) and Business Process Management (BPM), we are thrilled to partner on this new series of courses."
