TriQuint's new AH420 is a 4W (P1dB) highly-linear amplifier requiring only 5V for operation. The new amplifier is one of the market's few 4W devices, and unlike most 4W solutions, the AH420 provides excellent performance without the expense of higher wattage or a negative supply, allowing customers to maintain a single voltage rail. This can lower overall system costs. This amplifier's high performance makes it ideal for repeater and femtocell applications, with an operating bandwidth from 400 to 2700MHz. Samples of the AH420 are now available.
