AGC Chemicals Americas to Present Webinar on Using FEVE Resins in Industrial Coatings

EXTON, Pa. – AGC Chemicals Americas Inc. will present a free webinar that explains the performance capabilities and advantages of LUMIFLON™ fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) resin, the world’s first solvent-soluble fluoropolymer. FEVE-based coatings do not require heat to cure and can be field-applied at ambient temperatures.

Robert Parker, technical development chemist, and Kristen Blankenship, technical service chemist for the LUMIFLON product line, will present “FEVE Hybrid Fluoropolymer Technology – Still the New Face in High Performance Coatings” at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, July 17. To register for the webinar, which is hosted by Coatings World magazine, visit https://event.webcasts.com/starthere.jsp?ei=1018900.

Coatings, paints and sealants formulated with FEVE hybrid fluoropolymer resins provide corrosion resistance for exterior steel structures, aluminum building components and aerospace components. Webinar participants will view performance results and will learn how best to incorporate FEVE resins into their products for improved resistance to corrosion, chemicals, dirt, UV rays, wind and rain.
