AFS seeks Board of Directors and 2nd Vice Chair nominations.January 23, 2012 -
Every year, AFS Society elects 2nd Vice Chair and 6 members of Board of Directors. Elected 2nd Vice Chair will become AFS 2nd Vice Chair for 2013, 1st Vice Chair for 2014, and AFS Chair in 2015. For elected members of Board of Directors, term of service will begin at Fall 2012 Board of Directors Meeting or November 30, 2012, whichever is sooner, for term of 2 years. Only requirement is that nominees must be current 2012 members of AFS.

Due Date - March 1, 2012 Every year the AFS Society elects a 2nd Vice Chair and six members of the Board of Directors. The elected 2nd Vice Chair will become the AFS 2nd Vice Chair for 2013, 1st Vice Chair for 2014 and the AFS Chair in 2015. The only requirement for nomination is the nominee must be a current 2012 member of the AFS. (A current member is defined as having paid dues for 2012.) Previous experience in a local AFS chapter, service on the Board of Directors, activities releated to AFS Conferences or serving on an AFS Committee is helpful.
