AFI Names Ted Turczyn to Lead Distribution Sales.
Somerset, NJ (November 26, 2007) -- Jack Fernandes, President and CEO of American Fibertek, Inc., has announced the appointment of Theodore "Ted" Turczyn as Director of Distribution Sales. Turczyn joined AFI this month following a successful career in the communication systems integration field, including positions with Belden Cable and International Fiber Systems.
"Ted has extensive experience in distribution sales and management, across a number of security system areas," said Fernandes. "We welcome his proven capability to support and focus on our distribution network and sales."
According to Fernandes, the new position of Director of Distribution Sales was created to strengthen AFI's growing business in this area. "Increased competition in the IP-focused distribution business has created both opportunities and challenges for us," he said. "Ted's knowledge and background in this market will be vital to our ability to develop strategies that effectively address our customer's needs."
In addition to his responsibility for the management and growth of the AFI products distribution channel, Turczyn will also be responsible for other developing vertical distribution channel markets in North America. He will be based out of his home office in Michigan
