AEM Announces 2009 Education Programs
Sessions offer practical, industry focused strategies
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has set its 2009 schedule of face-to-face educational seminars designed for off-road equipment manufacturing industry professionals. AEM seminars deliver practical business strategies and tactics to help attendees improve company efficiency and profitability.
AEM educational programming offers attendees CEU-Continuing Education Credits.
AEM seminars in 2009 will cover marketing, especially through a downturn, as well as customer support, product safety and compliance, and product liability issues. The seminars combine presentations by leading business and industry experts, peer-to-peer roundtable discussions, case studies and question-and-answer sessions.
Participants exchange ideas and information, investigate solutions to common issues, and keep up to date on the latest developments, technologies and practices in their specific areas of professional responsibilities, especially as they relate to industry needs.
The association will also hold two sessions of its High Performance Sales College, in July and October in Chicago, Illinois, to help regional sales managers focus on solutions for customer needs.
AEM in addition conducts an Annual Conference that provides an opportunity for senior-level manufacturing industry executives to examine trends in the economy, global business, public policy, and leadership and management, among other topics. The 2009 conference is November 15-17 in Hollywood, Florida.
The association also conducts a senior-level AgExecutive Forum to meet the specific business-planning needs of agricultural industry companies. This gathering will be held in early January 2010 to coincide with AEM's inaugural AG CONNECT Expo January 12-15, 2010 in Orlando, Florida (Orange County Convention Center).
The AEM marketing seminar is May 17-19 in Montreal, Canada; the product safety seminar is April 27-29 and the product liability seminar, April 30, all in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and the customer support Seminar is September 27-30 in Orlando, Florida.
