ADP's Decision Support Technology Helps Dealers Make Informed Business Decisions to Increase Profit

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Feb. 5: Showcasing its commitment to helping dealers sell more cars, parts and services profitably, the Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing Inc. (NYSE:ADP) introduces Decision Support Premier in parallel with its successful deployment of ADP's w.e.b.Suite(TM) Decision Support offering. As part of ADP's Dealer Information Solutions (DIS), Decision Support Premier starts where w.e.b.Suite Decision Support, now deployed in more than 200 dealerships in North America, leaves off.
This initial release of Decision Support Premier allows dealers the ability to access a wealth of information from various data sources and then quickly transform that data into symbols that offer a visual representation of what's happening throughout the dealership -- so that decision makers can easily identify problem areas and take appropriate action.
Approved for general release in the summer of 2006, ADP's w.e.b.Suite Decision Support includes: Financial Statement Drilldown, which makes it easy to drill down to details of the G/L account, journal details and archived documents, and export a statement to a PDF; Financial Statement Explorer, which allows a manager to compare multiple financial statements side-by-side then sort and filter information; user-customized Management Information System (MIS) Drilldown; and an Operational Reports tool that offers an online library of more than 65 standard reports.

"And new for NADA 2007, w.e.b.Suite Decision Support is also now available with ADP's w.e.b.Suite Elements DMS solution for smaller dealerships looking for advanced reporting capabilities."
Decision Support Premier
With Decision Support Premier a dealership can instantly view the success of individual stores, departments within those stores or individual employee performance. All of this data is benchmarked against key metrics, whereby users quickly learn to identify key exceptions using advanced data visualization technology.
The next release of Decision Support Premier will include added visuals of a dealership's operational data organized in a "Dashboard" format with color-coded scoreboard graphs, allowing dealers to maximize and mine their data and drilldown to w.e.b.Suite DMS transactions.
