New Website Showcases Nearly 4 Times the Product Offerings with Increased Functionality
Cleveland, OH - March 13, 2008 AD Products, a trusted online source for enclosures, accessories and instrumentation is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved website. The website, www.adproductsco.com, retains many great features as the previous site; however the new site has a more user friendly layout as well as offering nearly 4 times more products.
The website redesign came about after months of working closely with our customers, who were integral in assessing both the advantages and disadvantages of online "e-tailers" in the electrical enclosure and accessory industry. "At AD Products, we have always taken customer input very seriously, talking with them and taking note of their opinions to make our website a better tool for them," said Joe Shoemaker, Business Development Manager of AD Products. "Over the past year, we have conducted informal research with our customers and the results have influenced the new website design and content."
Great Customer Feedback Since the launch, initial customer response has been overwhelmingly positive. "I recently placed a time-sensitive order through the site," said Raymond Brown, an engineer for a processing plant. "Notifications were sent to me via e-mail when my order was received, processed and ultimately shipped. The tracking number was e-mailed over as well, so I was able to keep an eye out for the delivery."
4 Times More Selection Our new website has increased the product offerings by nearly 4 times - including new brands such as Integra Enclosures, which offers rugged NEMA 4X/6P polycarbonate enclosures, as well as products for heating, cooling, temperature and humidity control of electronic enclosures from STEGO, Inc. Our current suppliers, including Adalet, Meriam, Hammond and Vynckier have also increased their product offerings.
Better Functionality, Faster Search For our new site, special emphasis was placed creating an easier-to-navigate layout to ensure customers found their products quicker and easier. Because of this, AD Products customers will notice the increased functionality and easier navigation starting right at the home page.
Customers can begin their search for products via a number of ways: by product categories, brand, or keywords via a "Quick Search Box." Catalog searches can be done using multiple filters at the same time, i.e. category, keywords, brand, price, etc. For those searching specifically for enclosures, the enclosure dimensions can be inputted and all of the options meeting those criteria will be available - no matter the material type.
Customer Conveniences With the new site, many features are accessible in just one click - from account updates and management to accessing previously placed orders for reordering. The enhanced site will send e-mails to customers to let them know their order is received, processed and shipped. The new AD Products site also features quantity discounts, free ground shipping on select product lines and bundled complementary products.
