Bud Industries, Leader in NEMA Rated Enclosures, Added
Cleveland, OH - November 10, 2008 AD Products has added NEMA rated plastic boxes from Bud Industries to its product offerings.
The Bud enclosures offered through AD Products includes over 200 enclosures and back panels with sizes as small as 2.05" x 1.97" x 1.38" up to 32.05" x 24.18" x 11".
AD Products currently offers the following lines from Bud:
BT Series - The BT (blue transparent) series from Bud are polycarbonate molded enclosures with near complete transparency to blue, white, and near white displays. Ideal for housing printed circuit boards, test equipment other applications in the electrical and electronic industries. Available in a variety of sizes, these enclosures allow easy monitoring of displays, readouts and other devices. The BT Series has a lap joint design combined with silicon gasket to ensure protection against ingress of dust and splashing water. They are NEMA 4X rated with a UL94-V2 flammability rating.
PN / PNR Series - The PN Series of plastic boxes are polycarbonate and high-impact ABS molded enclosures meeting NEMA 4X, IEC52/IP65, and UL508-4X specifications. The PN Series boxes feature a smooth, flat top cover, while the PNR Series has a smooth, recessed top cover. They are ideal for PCB enclosures, junction boxes and other applications in the electrical and electronic industries which are used in wet, dirty and/or corrosive environments. Available in a variety of sizes, these enclosures are offered in three different styles: o Style 1 - Light gray polycarbonate body and cover. o Style 2 - Light gray polycarbonate body with a clear polycarbonate cover. o Style 3 - Dark gray ABS body and cover. Styles 1 and 2 are UV stabilized with a suggested service temperature of -40°C to 120°C. Style 3 is for indoor use only with a suggested service temperature of 0°C to 80°C. All styles maintain a UL94-HB flammability rating.
NBA - NBE Series - Many of these gasketed enclosures have been tested and approved to UL508- 4X specifications, with a few being approved to UL50- 4X. All enclosures meet NEMA 4X and IEC529-IP65 requirements. Indoor versions are made from either ABS or ABS/PC blended plastic; outdoor versions are molded out of light gray PC/PBT blended plastic. Back panels for this series are 16 gauge galvanized steel and come in 15 different sizes. The family includes 5 different styles, including: NBA - Stainless Steel Hinges & Latching; indoor and outdoor versions available. Enclosure features either opaque or clear door. NBB - Non-Metallic Hinges & Latching; ABS and UL508-4X indoor/outdoor versions available. Enclosure features either opaque or clear door. NBC - Concealed Hinges w/ Key Activated Latching; indoor version only NBD - Non-Metallic Phillips Drive Fasteners NBE - Same as NBB except with Aluminum Swingframe Panel
