Acutronic USA, Inc.
700 Waterfront Dr.
Pittsburgh, PA, 15222
USA

Press release date: March 8, 2012

In addition to its highly customized and proven high-end systems, ACUTRONIC is ready to serve customers with off-the-shelf, standardized and cost-effective 2-Axis rate tables.

The 21-series provides an economical test solution for simultaneous testing of several small Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) or Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) sensors. With this product line ACUTRONIC is responding primarily to the need of MEMS devices manufacturers. The rate and position tables are designed to handle larger production volumes and integrate easily into the production line.

Optimized for the testing of MEMS inertial devices, these 21-series tables provide MEMS manufacturers a means to mechanically stimulate their products for calibration and performance verification.

The 21-series comes in five standard configurations, all available in short lead times (4 - 8 weeks). These tables are typically used for testing devices for the following segments:
  • Commercial applications: handheld devices, virtual reality, robots
  • Medical applications: surgery & rehabilitation equipment
  • Industrial applications: surveying, construction, agriculture
  • Ground transportation: cars, trucks, trains

An integrated motion controller allows precise measurement and closed-loop control of position, rate, and acceleration. The controller supports a subset of the industry-standard ACUTRONIC Command Language (ACL) for communicating with a host computer. More information about the 21-Series (AC216 and AC217) is available online at the following address: www.acutronic.com/us/products/2-axis-rate-tables.html
