ACC Launches New Web Site on Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Insulating Foam Sealants

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), in cooperation with the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance, has launched its Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) Health and Safety Web site, www.spraypolyurethane.com. The site, intended for SPF contractors, weatherization professionals, do-it-yourselfers (DIYers), and homeowners, provides up-to-date information on the benefits and handling of SPF insulation and insulating foam sealant.

A wealth of guidance materials, posters and videos make the site a storehouse of information on SPF - product types, applications, benefits, and, most importantly, safe use and handling. The site is easy to navigate and organized by audience sector. Homeowners who are having SPF installed in their home, DIYers who plan to seal gaps and cracks with insulating foam sealant, and SPF professional and weatherization contractors will quickly find sections suited to their particular needs.
