Taipei, Taiwan (April 18, 2011) - AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, was awarded the Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award at the 19th Taiwan Excellence Gold & Silver Awards Ceremony program. This award is based upon four categories: Marketing, Quality, Research & Development and Design. As international judges are chosen to carefully go over many different products, the competition is fierce. This prestigious award was presented to AAEON by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) Director General Cho Shih-Chao.
The Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award is given to companies that have won at least fifty Taiwan Excellence Products. In total, AAEON has received fifty seven awards. This year alone, AAEON has won eight Taiwan Excellence Product Awards. The winning products are: NanoCOM-LN, EPIC-QM57, RTC-1000AS, ACP-5182, AGP-3175, AHP-1070, FES-6110, and the GCS1100i.
