AKRON, Ohio - A. Schulman, Inc. (Nasdaq-GS: SHLM) shares a "Passion for Plastics" with customers, and, together, they are creating innovative solutions that address demanding application requirements across numerous markets which are driving rapid growth in Brazil.
The Company's ability to customize plastics to meet market needs will be featured at A. Schulman's display at Brasilplast 2011, International Plastics Industry Trade Fair. The biannual Brasilplast show is being held May 9 to May 13, 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Located at Stand D-88, the Company will showcase its complete portfolio of products and enhanced capabilities which come as a result of the acquisitions of ICO Polymers, and Mash Compostos Plasticos in Brazil. The recent acquisitions reinforce A. Schulman's commitment to support plastics companies in Brazil with broad masterbatch, engineered plastics, rotomolding and specialty powder capabilities, covering applications such as food packaging, agricultural films, consumer products such as plastic bags and containers, household products, toys, personal watercraft and water tanks.
