Perpetuum Software LLC unveils a regularly scheduled version of a free professional reporting tool for Microsoft .NET Framework. Report Sharp-Shooter Express 2.3 helps developers create feature-rich reports and integrate them into Windows Forms applications.
The product is written in C# and contains only managed code. It is fully compatible with .Net Framework 1.1 / 2.0.
Report Sharp-Shooter Express supports all .NET data sources, including ADO.NET and third-party business objects. It is possible to use multiple data sources in a single report.
The product provides the developer designer that allows the design of reports of different types: Sub-report, Cross tab, Group, Multicolumn, Parameterized, Hierarchical, and Side by Side reports. A cutting-edge Master Report concept provides the ability to develop multiple reports with a unified layout that corresponds to corporate standards in minutes. End-user designer is not shipped within this product edition.
Report Sharp-Shooter Express delivery package features Windows Forms viewer which provides the ability to view and print final documents at any time.
Though export options are limited in Report Sharp-Shooter Express, you can add custom export filters due to the product open plug-in architecture. The Pivot table and Chart components are available for evaluation, but they can not be used in commercial applications.
