Milacron Units Being Added To Support Demand for ADS Leaching Chambers

Hilliard, Ohio - April 24, 2007: Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., (ADS), announced it has purchased two additional Cincinnati Milacron injection molding machines and additional tooling to support its growing sanitary leaching chamber business.

These 2300 ton injection molding machines will be used to make the company's popular ARC(TM) leaching chambers. These chambers are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and have an open bottom and curved top that produces increased load bearing capability in the trench. Leaching chambers are increasingly replacing the traditional gravel and pipe set-up in septic leach field applications because they are easier to handle, and have lower labor and materials costs.

One of these additional Milacron units will be installed at ADS' dedicated injection molding facility in Winchester, Kentucky. The other machine will be placed in one of the company's plants in the Pacific Northwest to support the growing customer base on the West coast. Both are expected to be on-line later this year.

"The ARC product line has experienced rapid sales growth since its' introduction in 2006," stated Joe Chlapaty, president and chief executive officer of Ohio-based ADS. Due to this rapid growth and customer acceptance, we are significantly stepping up production capability to meet market demand.

The ADS ARC leaching chamber has an integral articulating joint, which enables it to be readily used in straight or contoured septic leach field applications. Designed by ADS engineers to combine maximum infiltrative surface area and storage capacity, the ARC series has a high rate of effluent dispersal as well as inherent structural integrity. This high level of performance, installation flexibility, favorable cost and handling ease make it an effective solution for new onsite wastewater installation and existing leach field system repairs.
