MHEDA profiles Chad Hines, a budding powerhouse in the industrial truck industry.
Dewitt, NY - The Third Quarter 2010 issue of The MHEDA Journal (http://www.TheMhedaJournal.org), the leading online magazine for the forklift, conveyor, storage & handling, and general material handling equipment industries, spotlights material handling industry up-and-comer Chad Hines, service manager at Quality Lift Trucks in Chula Vista, California.
Hines is just 28 years old, but he has already made a mark at the company since starting as a service technician a few years ago. He is the second generation, following the footsteps of his father, company president Dennis Hines, who started the business in 1978. Being part of the family business is very exciting for Chad Hines, who has taken on additional responsibilities outside of the service department. "I spend a great deal of time in communication with our sales, accounting and parts managers to ensure that we're providing the highest possible level of service to our customers," Hines says.
The theme of service goes beyond just repairing customers' equipment, according to Hines. "It's not just fixing trucks. It's about maintaining a high standard of internal and external customer care," he says. "Our customers need us to keep them up and running at all costs. If I can make sure our service department does that, we will earn their loyalty, and that's what it's all about."
