(Helsinki, Finland) Vaisala has received a formal type approval certificate from the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The DNV approval is an official guarantee that Vaisala measurement instruments can withstand the extremely harsh marine conditions. The certificate applies to a complete line of Vaisala's humidity, dewpoint, moisture in oil and barometric pressure transmitters serving measurement needs in versatile applications from ship machinery rooms to bridges.

Optimal performance in demanding circumstances

Improving a ship's onboard machinery performance is an ongoing challenge for ship builders and shipping companies.
