ILSCO's Aluminum Pigtail Adaptors, ACM, ACO and ACO-90, are now UL486A-486B Listed and CSA Certified for both aluminum and copper conductor. They can be used with the following conductor types: Stranded Class B & C concentric, compressed, and unidirectional lay compact. They are rated for 600V and 90° C.
ILSCO's pigtail adaptors are the solution when oversized conductor must be landed into a mechanical connector which has a smaller conductor range. The smaller diameter of the pin on the pigtail adaptors easily fits into most aluminum mechanical connectors, while being fully rated for the ampacity of the incoming conductor. ACO adaptors have an offset pin; ACO-90 adaptors have a 90 degree bent pin and offer a solution for applications with space limitations.
The use of ILSCO's pigtail adaptors are a UL/CSA approved alternative to changing out panel board or other electrical device connectors, which may void the device's UL/CSA Listing.
