Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation Release date: May 21, 2009
Personnel and Literature Focus on Growing Customer Base
Pittsburg, CA - - May 21, 2009 - - Today, Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation announced the introduction of new options available to its growing Spanish-speaking customer base. The company has recently appointed Ricardo Iraheta, a dedicated bilingual customer service representative, who can assist customers with their application requirements in either Spanish or English. Originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, Iraheta is fluent in both languages, and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California in Santa Barbara.
Bishop-Wisecarver has also appointed bilingual manufacturers' representatives to provide customer service and technical assistance in the Southern Florida and Caribbean regions. RCB International founders, Angel and Rafael Benitez, are originally from Puerto Rico, where their family owned a prominent industrial distribution business. This unique background has provided RCB not only with a great deal of knowledge about linear motion products and markets, but an intimate understanding of the export business as well.
In addition, the company is creating a library of Spanish versions of its most popular product catalogs. Several, including its signature DualVee product line, are now available for download from the Bishop-Wisecarver web site: www.bwc.com/library_download_documents.php; select option "Catalogos en Espaņol". Additional Spanish version catalogs will be added frequently as they become available.

The company's addition of Spanish personnel and literature is also valuable to the growing U.S. Hispanic population. Even though English is the official language of business in the U.S., those who prefer to receive services and support in their native language have expressed appreciation for this option.
Bishop-Wisecarver is also beginning work on a Spanish language web site, to be unveiled later this year.
