Lincolnshire, Illinois, March 2, 2009 - GF AgieCharmilles today announced a new spare and wear parts pricing policy. The industry leader in high speed milling and wire and die-sinking EDM machines reduced prices for these parts to ensure that customers continue to have access to affordable machining solutions.
"GF AgieCharmilles prides itself on providing customers with unparalleled customer service and the best components on the market to help guarantee each machine's accuracy and reliability," said Glynn Fletcher, President, GF AgieCharmilles. "After evaluating market conditions, we decided to reduce the prices of spare and wear parts in hopes of helping customers keep their machines running at peak performance during this economic storm."
Members of GF AgieCharmilles' Privilege Club can also take advantage of a price matching policy for spare parts. The company will match the price of any non-proprietary part that is supplied under identical technical and commercial circumstances. Privilege Club is open to all GF AgieCharmilles customers in the United States and Canada, whether they have purchased EDMs, high speed or high performance machining centers or wear parts and consumables.
Additionally, GF AgieCharmilles recently consolidated logistics with a new North American central hub for spare parts in Woodridge, Illinois. The 35,000 sq-ft location houses more than $30 million in inventory and boasts an infrastructure designed for enhanced efficiency.
