Zeus is slated to manufacture parts and assemble MOD® units, an innovative medication dispenser produced by Avancen MOD Corporation
ORANGEBURG, S.C., Feb. 13, 2009 -- Zeus, Inc., a global leader in the design and production of high-performance fluoropolymers, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Avancen MOD Corporation. Avancen produces the MOD (Medication on Demand), a wireless device that allows hospitalized patients to directly access their oral pain medication from bedside. Zeus has partnered with the company and will manufacture parts for the MOD and assemble the units.
For more than 40 years, Zeus has been driven by a culture of innovation, problem solving, and customer support to become an internationally recognized leader in the design and production of high-performance polymer extrusions. Florida-based Avancen will be relocating to North Charleston, South Carolina and Zeus, also headquartered in the State, will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of the MOD. The collaboration will result in technology that ensures prompt delivery of medications, promotes nursing staff efficiency, and improves the general care of hospitalized patients at bedside.
