The iPro 8000 SLAŽ Center is designed to quickly and economically build small and large parts with unprecedented surface smoothness, feature resolution, edge definition and tolerances that rival the accuracy of CNC-machined parts. Based on decades of 3D Systems' patented SLAŽ technology, the system features a new generation, proprietary ProScan digital scanning system that is equipped with a new, state-of-the-art SteadyPower Imager for reliable output and repeatability. 3D Systems plans to unveil and demonstrate tomorrow its new iPro 8000 SLAŽ Center as part of its planned Stereolithography product launches at its World Conference in Charlotte, NC. 3D Systems plans to accept orders for this new system starting this week for fourth-quarter 2008 shipments.
