CORROSION MONITORING SOLUTIONS

In keeping with Rohrback Cosasco Systems high standard of quality products and services, we are now offering comprehensive training and certification in the use of all COSASCO® Systems equipment including Retrievers, Service Valves, and the Model 60 Retractor. Proper training in the use of COSASCO tools is recommended for any person who will be operating COSASCO equipment in the field on pressurized systems.

RCS Trainers have extensive practical experience in the manufacture, assembly, and field use of our tools, access fittings and other equipment. They are certified by the US Department of Transportation, have had broad HSE training, and have had formal training related to hydrogen sulphide and other hazardous materials. The RCS training program emphasizes personal safety and environmental awareness in the use of COSASCO tools. RCS offers training at our Santa Fe Springs, CA, USA and Aberdeen, UK locations, or in the field.

The following COSASCO® Certification courses are now available: COSASCO® LEVEL I CERTIFICATION - Basic COSASCO® Retrieval Operations The Cosasco Level I Certification is a two day course designed and strongly recommended for anyone using COSASCO equipment on an occasional basis, or who need an understanding of the COSASCO system in support of their job (e.g. engineers, designers, plant supervisory personnel). Participants will be educated in the following key areas: Classroom Training: (testing knowledge) o Access fittings, coupons, and probes o Differences between Retractable and Retrievable systems o Retractors and Retrievers o Special service tools, including but not limited to, overshot adaptor, surge tube, backpressure pump, thread chaser and pipe plug adapter o Coupon insertion and retrieval (Retrievable and/or Retractable) o Probe insertion and retrieval (Retrievable and/or Retractable) o Safety & Troubleshooting

Hands-On Training: (testing skills and knowledge) o Operation of RBS/RBSA and RSL retrievers under pressure o Operation of Service Valves under pressure o Operation of Model 60 Retractor under pressure

Certification At the end of the course a test will be given to confirm comprehension and understanding of the course material. A Cosasco Level I Certificate and ID Card will be issued upon passing the test.

COSASCO® LEVEL II CERTIFICATION - Advanced COSASCO® Retrieval Operations The Cosasco Level II Certification is a two day course designed and recommended for anyone using COSASCO equipment on a regualr basis in the field or those who wish to acquire a deeper understanding of the COSASCO System. Participants will be required to demonstrate their skills and the level of knowledge and understanding of the following key areas. Classroom Training: (testing knowledge) o Retriever and Service Valve disassembly, servicing and assembly o Pressure testing procedures for Retrievals and Service Valves o Identifying and managing potentially hazardous situations such as leaks o Correct procedures for Hot Tapping RCS access fittings

Hands-On Training: (testing skills and knowledge) o Advanced Retrieval Operations, including assembly, disassembly, and servicing o Operation of special service tools, including hot-tapping o Tool overhaul and repair

Certification At the end of the course a test will be given to confirm comprehension and understanding of the course material. A COSASCO Level II Certificate and ID Card will be issued upon passing the test.

COSASCO® On-Site Training Rohrback Cosasco Systems also offers COSASCO LEVEL I and LEVEL II Training & Certification at your location, including offshore. We can also work with your safety and training department to customize the courses to your specific needs, including translation to other languages.
