Downers Grove, IL -June 26, 2008 - Lovejoy, Inc., the international leader in the power transmission marketplace, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Greg Taylor as Torsional Product Manager.

Taylor's role is to oversee the marketing, engineering, coordination, and sales efforts for Lovejoy's wide range of torsional couplings. He works directly with distributors and Original Equipment Manager (OEM) accounts. At Lovejoy, Taylor's goals are to develop innovative products and to grow the torsional products market. This includes increasing sales for their new low-cost LV and LVK, which are torsional couplings used to protect a variety of driven equipment from potentially damaging vibrations.

Prior to Lovejoy, Taylor worked as an application manager for Power Great Lakes, Inc. in Wood Dale, Ill. He was involved with both the sales and development-from concept stage to final quality control-of vehicle engine platforms and systems. Taylor holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from DePaul University. He has also taken several graduate-level mechanical engineering courses at the University of Illinois. Taylor is the Chair of Chicago SAE-an organization dedicated to advancing the engineering of mobility industry. He is also active in the AWIM program, which educates K-12 students about science, math and engineering. Taylor lives in Chicago with his wife.
