Laser Photonics, Inc.

Release date: July 30, 2008

LAKE MARY, FL., JULY 30, 2008 - Laser Photonics is pleased to announce the integrated partnership agreement between itself and FANUC Robotics. The partnership agreement was finalized July 29, 2008. This partnership is a step in the right direction for both Laser Photonics and FANUC Robotics. For the past week, Laser Photonics employees have been receiving training on the FANUC Robots and one has been installed and demonstrated in the Laser Photonics Customer Center.

"The advancement of new and exciting technology is always at the forefront of manufacturing plants and we want to be at the top of their list. Fiber laser technology has already surpassed what CO2 lasers could do in the past and now adding a Fiber Laser cutting, marking, or welding laser to a FANUC robot is moving us even farther in the right direction," states Wayne Tupuola, Vice President of Operations at Laser Photonics.

"We are very enthusiastic about the new partnership which will put the terrific new Fiber Laser technology on our robots, and put our robots on Laser Photonics' standard product line of laser processing machines for turnkey solutions with automated material handling," said Gary Kowalski, FANUC Robotics' Regional Manager.

Laser Photonics will also be demonstrating the integration of FANUC robots into their Fiber Laser Systems at IMTS in Chicago (Booth #B-6157). The robot will be performing simulated spot welding motion and Laser Photonics will be taking preorders throughout the six day show. This is a very important milestone for Laser Photonics and a major addition to their current product line. This partnership also is the final step in the completion of designing and producing Laser Photonics newest flexible manufacturing cell, The Excalibur. In turn, this agreement enables FANUC to break into new markets.

Laser Photonics, www.laserphotonics.com, is the industry leader in developing high-tech Fiber and CO2 laser marking, cutting and engraving systems for a variety of industries such as; aerospace, automotive, medical, solar semiconductor etc. We exceed in manufacturing high quality, performance driven turnkey solutions for these and many other industries.
