Colson Caster Adds to Local and Regional Sales Staff
Atkinson and Murphy To Focus on Company Reputation and Relationships
Jonesboro, Arkansas, May 5, 2008 - Colson Caster Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of standard and custom application caster and wheel products, today announced the addition of James Murphy and Porter Atkinson to its expanding sales organization. Atkinson will assume the Southeast Regional Manager position, while Murphy will work from the Jonesboro headquarters location as Colson's newest Sales Engineer.

After receiving his B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Atkinson held operations, production, and sales positions at both PPI Casters, and World Caster & Equipment. Leveraging a decade of experience in the caster industry, Atkinson will focus on building the Colson brand in the Southeast, the development of new distributor relationships in his region, and adding to Colson's manufacturing customer base. Atkinson will be based in Atlanta where he lives with his wife and children.
Murphy brings more than 20-years of manufacturing background to his new position as Sales Engineer for Colson. His experience includes both sales and engineering functions for various materials handling product providers, including 10-years with Hytrol Conveyor Company. Murphy's objectives at Colson involve diagnosing and designing caster solutions to grow current and new business opportunities. He has earned Business and Engineering certificates from Auburn University and received an Advanced Management-Mini MBA from Arkansas State University. Murphy lives in Jonesboro with his family where he also trains and shows horses.
