L&T Infotech Joins Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Information Solution Provider Program
Company will develop and deliver services based on FactoryTalk production and performance applications from Rockwell Automation
MILWAUKEE, April 28, 2008 - Rockwell Automation today announced that L&T Infotech has joined its FactoryTalk Information Solution Provider program. As a partner in the program, L&T Infotech will join Rockwell Automation in helping global manufacturers build successful, plant-wide information applications and manufacturing execution systems (MES) using the FactoryTalk integrated production and performance software suite.
The Information Solution Provider program was established by Rockwell Automation in October 2006 to provide manufacturers with a resource-rich network of information systems professionals to help drive better manufacturing performance by integrating plant-floor control and information systems. Through the program, Rockwell Automation trains and certifies information systems professionals on implementing MES and integration platforms within the FactoryTalk suite, and integrating these applications with enterprise resource planning and plant-floor control systems. The FactoryTalk suite of solutions focuses on the following disciplines:
o Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) o Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) o Production Visibility and Enterprise Manufacturing Information (EMI) o Data Management o Regulatory Compliance and Quality Systems
