Parkinson's message at this year's INDEX exhibition is clear: for nonwovens processors considering new machinery purchases, the time to buy is now.

These incentives include 50% bonus depreciation on new equipment purchased in 2008 and installed before Jan. 1, 2009.
It's also a good time for the rest of the world's processors to buy, according to Parkinson, and it also has to do with the U.S. economy. "Our pricing has become very attractive to European and Asian processors, particularly because of the current situation with the weak U.S. dollar," said Termyn.
