Pine Hall requested a second Setter at their new Fairmount Plant, located in Fairmount, Georgia to handle their standard product plus pavers efficiently. ASI met this request with a Robotic Setting System featuring Two Fanuc Robots with End of Arm Tooling and a special Push Through Pivoting Double Bank Wire Cutter.
Two Fanuc Robots set brick on the kiln car ASI's engineers worked closely with Pine Hall personnel to develop the right setter for their need. From years of experience in making pavers, Pine Hall requested and ASI deliver a Push Through Double Bank Wire Cutter. This cutter not only allows the pusher to push all the way through the wires, but will pivot down as the paver passes through leaving the desired wire cut pattern on the face of the paver. This cutter also featured a second bank to allow for ease of wire changeover with minimal shut down of production.
Pivoting Double Bank Wire Cutter ASI provided two sets of End of Arm Tooling for the Robots. One set for running production and the other set for changeover, thereby minimizing any costly downtime to change from one brick size to another.
