WINONA, MINNESOTA, USA - (March 25, 2008) - RTP Company announces the appointment of George Yule as General Manger, Defense and Aerospace Division - the first industry-based division for RTP Company. Mr. Yule's responsibilities will include organizing the new division, establishing strategic relationships with defense and aerospace OEMs and suppliers worldwide, and establishing a new advanced materials laboratory to develop unique materials and processes.
Announcing the new appointment, Hugh Miller, RTP Company CEO, outlined the company's vision for the new division by saying, "The United States of America leads the world in defense and aerospace technology and manufacturing. RTP Company can and must support this leadership position for the future welfare and growth for this country and for our company. We will use our sixty plus years of independence and technology in engineering thermoplastics to be a materials leader to these industries."
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Yule was an Application Development Specialist for the High Performance Resins Division of SABIC Innovative Plastics (formerly GE Plastics) in Pittsfield, MA. His previous positions included VP of Technology and Sales/Partner at Knightsbridge Plastics, Inc., Fremont CA, and General Manager at Tech Composites, Tempe, AZ. His work history has been exclusively and extensive in the plastics industry, including twenty years in custom plastic molding. Mr. Yule holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Montana.
