Press Release

Colson Caster Corp.

Release date: March 3, 2008

Colson Caster Launches Authentication Web Page to Combat Product Fraud

Safety and Product-Performance Elements of Concern for Manufacturer

Jonesboro, Arkansas, March 3, 2008 - Colson Caster Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of standard and custom application caster and wheel products, today announced it has created a web-based training and information site to educate its customers and clients so they can ensure they are receiving authentic, tested Colson products. The monitoring activity, believed to be the first in this industry, is a direct result of Colson clients receiving counterfeit materials from import providers.

"One of our field personnel spotted our wheels attached to counterfeit forks," said David Long, product manager of Colson. "The product had been represented to the end-user as a complete Colson caster model. Our products are used in critical applications where product failure could be dangerous and costly, so we created this reference guide to protect our customers and our business."

Colson products are built for specific applications and are thoroughly and rigorously tested to guarantee quality and safety in particular environments. The new web page, available at www.colsoncaster.com by clicking on the 'How to Identify Authentic Colson Caster Products' link at the top of the page, shows customers how to identify true Colson products and designs by pointing out attributes and patented markings. The company takes this unprecedented step to protect its clients and its clients' customers from not only fraud, but also injury and potentially catastrophic events.

"Although imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, in this case it can be downright dangerous," said Charles Harris, manager of engineering for Colson. "The failure of wheel and caster products in most of our clients' applications has the potential for personal, plus economic disaster. We test and warranty our products and that is of significant importance to our customers' safety and business." The new web page is live now and Colson is contacting its client base with information and background. Updates will be made to the site as product introductions and industry research and monitoring require.
