Stiles Machinery, Inc.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Stiles Machinery Inc is proud to announce that the annual Holzma U.S. seminar and open house will be held April 30 and May 1, 2008, at the Holzma U.S. headquarters in Gastonia, NC, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day.

The theme of this year's event is "The Right Solution for Your Application" and will provide insights on when to use a nested-based router or a saw - or both. Both classroom sessions and machine demonstrations will illustrate how these solutions minimize the direct labor consumed in non-value-added steps. Experts from functional hardware as well as design and production software companies will present solutions for specific manufacturing concerns.

Two fully-operational lean solutions will be on display during the event. One specifically designed for high production volumes featuring a Homag KAL 700 edgebander, a Weeke BHX 500 throughfeed machining center, and a Holzma HPL 380 cut up system featuring Power Clamp technology. The other work cell focuses on custom work and incorporates a Brandt 520 edgebander, a Weeke BHP 200 nested-based router, and a Holzma HPP 250 panel saw. These highly flexible, part-fabricating solutions are an effective use of floor space, and both cells will be driven by a variety of software products including Cut Rite.

For more details on the event, please contact Laura Hunt at Holzma U.S. 704-861-8239 or register online at www.stilesmachinery.com/seminars. For additional information, contact Bill Pitt, Vice President/General Manager of Holzma U.S., at 704-861-8239 or bpitt@stilesmachinery.com.
