Walled Lake, Michigan, February 12, 2008. Herkules Equipment Corporation, a leading manufacturer of Pneumatic Lifting Systems and Paint Gun Washers, is pleased to announce Larry Rood as the company's new Sales Director. Rood, who has experience selling to OEM's domestically & internationally will primarily focus on increasing sales of Herkules Material Handling Lift Systems to manufacturing and assembly facilities in a variety of industries domestically.
Rood has worked for automotive supplier companies including Asimco Technologies, Tesma, and Meridian Automotive prior to joining Herkules.
Rood has a Bachelors Degree in Business Leadership from Baker College, and holds two Associate Degrees in Engineering from Kent State University.
Rood's engineering background will prove complementary to selling customized scissor lift systems for specific applications. His experience motivating and providing key support to a sales force will further the growth of Herkules' Air-Powered Industrial Lift System sales that have been on the rise for several years already.
