Shelby Twp., Mich., February 12, 2008 - Elite Mold & Engineering, Inc. an industry leader providing high quality plastic injection molded parts and molded products, announced today that they finalized the formalities for the admission into the Global Tooling Alliance, a group of 16 tool and die shops, including mold makers and builders of sheet metal stamping dies, as well as specialty tool manufacturers. The Global Tooling Alliance (G.T.A.) was formed within the requirements of the Michigan Tool & Die Renaissance Recovery Zone Act with the assistance of Michigan Manufacturers Associations (M.M.A.), O'Riley Consulting and Butzel Long, and it was incorporated as an LLC during 2007.
The following companies are already members of the Global Tooling Alliance: Artcraft Pattern Works, Westland; Century Tool & Gage Co., Fenton; Commerce Industries Inc., Wixom; Exceptional Mold & Engineering, Inc., Romeo; Falcon Industry, Clinton Township; Focus Mold and Machining Inc., Grand Rapids; JeMar Tool, Inc., Shelby Township; Maple Mold Technologies, Inc., Rochester Hills; Reliable Concept Management, Romeo; Ronart Industries, Inc., Detroit; RTS Cutting Tools, Clinton Township; Saginaw Machine Systems, Inc., Saginaw; Top Craft Tool, Inc., Clinton Township; Vicount Industries, Inc., Farmington Hills; Wright-K Technology, Saginaw.
As an alliance, the group can offer complete manufacturing and technical support in all key areas involved in automotive, consumer product, electronic, and medical device industry, and it is able to support extensive projects and offer assistance on the international market and global manufacturing arena. "We offer services including metal die stamping, plastic injection molds, compression molds, gage making, testing equipment, custom machinery, robotics integration, material handling, assembly equipment, checking fixtures, 3D laser scanning, and special cutting tools", said Mr. Joseph Mandeville, President at Elite Mold & Engineering. "Global Tooling Alliance is different then others in the fact that we are supplying our manufacturing and technical support on an international level".
With its G.T.A. membership, Elite Mold & Engineering will have the opportunity to take advantage of the Alliance's unique perspectives focused on technology acceleration, business assistance, and customer support activities in many areas ranging from prototyping to production at industrial scale, as well as bio- and nanotechnology levels. Members are also able to utilize G.T.A. resources, attend roundtables and Trade Shows events, and use the Global Tooling Web site for posting press releases, requests for proposals and job openings.
"The current goal of Global Tooling Alliance is to get information out to potential customers", concluded Mr. Mandeville during the first G.T.A. meeting. "By networking together, explaining the alliance to current customers, marketing as a group and attending trade shows we will grow closer and stronger.
